Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and PIKsolution OÜ ("Aplite", "we") for the use of the Aplite service at aplite.ai. By creating an account you accept them. We've kept them as plain as we could — if anything is unclear, ask us at support@aplite.ai.

1. The service

Aplite is a hosted personal AI workspace: a markdown vault plus AI agents that read and write it, chat with you, and — if you set them up to — act autonomously on schedules, triggers, and chains. Each customer gets a dedicated, isolated instance that we provision, run, update, and meter for you. AI models are provided by third parties and connected through OpenRouter; you choose which model each agent uses.

2. Your account

3. Plans and credits

Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. Usage is metered in credits, which cover the AI model usage your agents consume plus a platform fee.

We may change prices or plan allowances going forward. Changes never apply retroactively: we give you notice in advance, and changes take effect at your next billing cycle at the earliest. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

4. Billing and payments

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as our merchant of record: Polar is the seller of record for your purchase, handles checkout and payment, issues invoices, and accounts for VAT and sales tax. You can manage your subscription, payment methods, and invoices — and cancel — in the customer portal linked from your billing page.

EU consumers: you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By subscribing or buying credits and using the service, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses to the extent the service has already been performed (credits consumed). Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

5. Your content

6. AI outputs

Agent responses are generated by third-party AI models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or biased — that is the nature of the technology, and we do not warrant the correctness of any output. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions. You are responsible for how you use what your agents produce. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users.

7. Autonomous agents

Aplite's point is that agents can act while you're away — on schedules, on triggers, through integrations you connected. That power comes with a simple rule: your configuration, your responsibility.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Aplite to break things or hurt people. Specifically, you may not:

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these rules — with prior notice where reasonable, immediately where necessary to protect the platform or others.

Sites you publish

Publishing puts a folder from your workspace on a public address under our domain — your-site-a1b2c3d4.aplite.page — where anyone with the link can read it, and where it reflects on Aplite as well as on you. Everything above applies to what you publish. On top of it, a published site may not:

We do not review sites before they go live, and we don't monitor them. That makes reports the mechanism, so we answer them properly.

Reporting a site

Write to support@aplite.ai with the full address of the page (something-a1b2c3d4.aplite.page) and what is wrong with it. You don't need an Aplite account to report a site.

We reply within three business days — sooner, ahead of everything else, when something is illegal or actively dangerous. If a site breaks these rules we take the public address offline; the files stay in the owner's workspace, and the owner is told what came down and why, so a mistaken report can be answered. Repeat or deliberate abuse costs the account, not just the site.

9. Third-party services

AI models, messaging platforms, and other integrated services are operated by third parties under their own terms. If a third party changes or discontinues something we build on, the dependent Aplite feature may change too; we'll handle such changes as gracefully as we can.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We run Aplite with care — but we are a small service and do not promise uninterrupted availability or offer an SLA. Maintenance, updates, and the occasional incident happen. We actively develop the product and may add, change, or retire features; where a change materially reduces functionality you pay for, we tell you in advance.

11. Termination

12. Intellectual property

The Aplite platform, brand, and interface are ours. Aplite builds on open-source software — including the OpenClaw agent runtime — used under its respective licenses. These terms grant you no rights other than those expressly stated.

13. Warranty and liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and wherever the law mandates it (e.g. product liability).

For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties — duties whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may reasonably rely — and in that case limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract, capped at the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Any further liability is excluded.

This does not shift risks to you that the law places on us, and it does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue using Aplite after that date, the new terms apply; if you object, you can cancel before they take effect.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
