What's actually running under the hood?+

OpenClaw — the open-source agent runtime. Aplite is a hosted, pre-configured OpenClaw instance: we run the server, keep it tuned and updated, and add the workspace, automations, and cost metering on top. You get the power of the real thing without setting up any of it.

Where is my data stored?+

On our own servers in the United States (Hetzner, Oregon) — encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per user. Aplite is run by an Estonian company under EU data-protection law, so GDPR applies wherever the machines stand. Your workspace itself is plain markdown files, so nothing is locked in a proprietary format.

Is my data used to train AI models?+

No. Agent requests go to model providers through API terms that exclude training, and we never use your notes for anything except serving you.

Which AI models can I use?+

Any model on OpenRouter — GPT, Claude, Gemini and a hundred others — chosen per agent, with automatic fallbacks when a provider has an outage. Usage is metered in credits, so you always see what a session cost.

Can it build web pages?+

Yes. Ask in chat and the agent writes the page as HTML into your workspace — a dashboard, a report, a small site or app. You preview it in the app, edit it with the agent, and publish it to a name.aplite.page address (Pro and Power). Published sites are static snapshots you version and roll back; agents never publish on their own.

What can agents do out of the box?+

Search the web and read pages, remember, work with your documents and tables, convert files, generate and edit images, talk on Telegram, deliver results to Telegram or email, build dashboards and pages, drive a headless browser on Power. Plus 30+ skills — Slack, GitHub, Notion, Todoist, Google Workspace, Tavily and more — and 14 ready routines such as Morning briefing, Price watcher and Competitor digest.

Do I need to know OpenClaw or use a terminal?+

No. Agents, skills, schedules, pages and models are all set up in the browser. Under the hood it is a standard OpenClaw instance, so what you read in the OpenClaw docs applies — but nothing there is required to use Aplite.

Can I leave anytime?+

Yes. Your notes are ordinary files — download the whole vault or keep it synced to Obsidian, cancel in the customer portal, and nothing is lost.
